📖 How NEPSE Calculations & Fee Rules Work
This engine automatically applies official regulatory rates dictated by SEBON & NEPSE:
- Brokerage Slabs (Buy & Sell): Up to 50k: 0.36% | 50k–500k: 0.33% | 500k–20 Lakhs: 0.31% | 20 Lakhs–1 Crore: 0.27% | Above 1 Crore: 0.24%. Minimum brokerage per transaction is NPR 10.
- SEBON Fee: 0.015% flat rate applied on every buy and sell trade amount.
- DP Charge: Flat NPR 25 per transaction per company scrip.
- Capital Gains Tax (CGT): Calculated strictly on net gains after deducting allowable acquisition and transaction charges. 7.5% for individual holding under 365 days; 5.0% for holding over 365 days. No CGT is applied if the transaction yields a loss.
